The working principle of the HLM vertical mill is as follows: The motor drives the reducer to rotate the grinding disc. Material is fed into the rotating disc's center through a lock-air feeding device. Under centrifugal force, the material enters the grinding channel. The rotating grinding rods continuously apply pressure, subjecting the material to compression, grinding, and shearing effects, thereby achieving thorough pulverization.
Meanwhile, hot air is uniformly and rapidly ejected upward through the wind ring surrounding the grinding table. The ground material is lifted and dried by the airflow, then carried into the classifier. Qualified fine powder passes smoothly and is collected by the dust collection system as the final product, while unqualified coarse powder is re-impounded on the grinding table by the classifier blades. This coarse powder is then re-ground with fresh material, completing the entire grinding cycle.
